STAFF BENEFITS

STAFF OPPORTUNITIES

IGNITE is organized into camper age groups that rotate through a series of activities. Each camper group and rotation station is led by a team leader that is assisted by volunteers.  A list of our camper groups and rotations stations can be found below. To sign up as a volunteer, click the “SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER” button above.

  • The arts and crafts team preps, leads, and assists campers in accomplishing daily art projects.

  • The basketball team introduces campers to fundamental basketball skills including dribbling, passing, and shooting.

  • The volleyball team introduces campers to fundamental skills including bumping, setting, and blocking.

  • The Bible story team is responsible for presenting the Bible story for each day in a dynamic and age appropriate way that will have kids coming back for more.

  • The snack team purchases, prepares, and serves wholesome snacks to our campers and staff.

  • The registration and hospitality team greets families each day as they arrive, makes sure our guests have everything they need for the day, and serves as a gracious ambassador for the church.

In particular, the registration team is responsible for checking children in, making sure all the registration fees have been collected, and making sure each child receives the correct size camp Tshirt.

  • The tech team runs the lights, sound, and projection system for the large group assemblies at the beginning and end of each day. It also captures photo and video footage for publicity and archival purposes.

  • The worship & drama team leads the songs and skits that take place during the large group assemblies at the beginning and end of each day.

Worship team members are responsible to learn and lead the songs for the week from the stage, including creating and teaching hand motions.

The drama team performs brief skits and/or puppet shows that highlight the theme of the day.

  • Group guides lead each group of campers from one rotation to the other. Guides are masters of leveraging fleeting moments of transitional time between rotations, or waiting for parent pick up to get to know their students. Group guides are responsible for greeting parents and the sign in and sign out process for their group.

Volunteer Child Registration

  • Use the code VOLFREECHILD2025 at checkout to get a full discount off one paying child aged PreK or higher.

  • Nursery care is a perk that is only available to volunteer staff families. Please note the number of children from your household that plan to use the nursery on your staff sign up form.

  • For the first time, IGNITE is offering it’s PreK - Kindergarten program to the general public, but we want to make sure our staff families get first dibs. Please use the registration form at left to register your children. Note that PreK-Kinder registrations count toward a staff member’s one free child registration.

  • This demographic is our classic camp audience. Use the registration link at left to register your children. To
