What We Believe

We believe that the most important thing in life is knowing God by having a trusting relationship with Jesus Christ.
Many people and religions claim to know God in all sorts of ways. We believe that the Bible is true and reliable, and the best source for learning about God. We believe that this wonderful relationship with God should not be kept secret, but shared with everyone. We call this sense of purpose “mission,” a way to bring hope and life to people who live close to us and those who are far away. Perhaps nothing tells the story of our faith better than how we live together. We try to live in love and unity, with mutual respect and freedom. We strive to give each other room to differ on those things not clearly spelled out in Scripture.
